Download and open ShowShark Server on the Mac that will serve your library.
Choose a folder or configure an SMB location. Let the Server scan and organize the library in place.
Open the Player on the same network, select your Server, and browse your media. Configure remote access when you are ready to connect from elsewhere.
Choose a video or song in the Player to start streaming. Trial streams are limited to 15 minutes per session.
No. ShowShark indexes media in place on your Mac, external drives, and SMB/NAS shares.
No. Built-in remote access connects your paired devices without router port forwarding. Your Server Mac still needs to be running and online.
Yes. Download supported videos and music to your device before you go offline. Local streaming also works over your home network; online sources need internet access.
Choose Studio for ProRes, BRAW, R3D, MXF, native S3 or Dropbox connections, and advanced technical inspection. Home includes local drives, SMB/NAS, everyday formats, remote access, and offline downloads.
